I am a thirty something female and the youngest of four! I am a proud adopted of two beautiful slightly aged feline’s. The oldest is Angel Baby and she has been my best friend, secret keeper for over 18 year’s. Our journey started out when she was barely weened and only weigh 8 oz! Next is Heaven (aka Heavy) who is pushing 12 years old. We met at my local veterinarian, she was a spunky girl trying to eat the ear of her cage mate! I simply fell in love and when I picked her up she licked my nose and I was enchanted! I am a diabetic- type 2, I was diagnosed when I was fifteen. I was able to manage the disease by oral medication and diet for years however in the last two (mostly due to other health issues) my sugar has be came uncontrolled to the point where insulin is required! I work weekends at a major home improvement store and spent my week days doing crafts in between doctor appointments for my family and myself.
FAVORITE MUSIC
I am old kind soul and my taste in music shows. I enjoy the old country singers(ex: Johnny Cash – George Jones) and most singers from the 90’s. I am hardcore 80’s girl- it’s the only decade I can listen about anything from. Currently I like a lot of the current radio hit’s- The Weekend and Fall Out Boys to name a few.
FAVORITE BOOKS
Now this is a hard one for me I am super picky about my book genres. I am however a HUGE Stephen King fan with The Dark Tower Series as my all time favorite! I also enjoy Ilona Andrew’s Kate Daniels series and most of Nalini Singh series.
FAVORITE TV SHOW'S
My go to movie while I am crocheting or crafting is Clue! I like the Grease movies with part 2 being my favorite. The Harry Potter series is always great as well. I like the Rocky Horror Picture Show and most any other musicals. Most movies that are based of games are fun. And most of the Disney Classics.
FAVORITE CRAFT'S
I am a beginner/intermediate basic crocheter along with a really new passion for amigurumi! I am also known for my crocheted market bags! I also dabble with jewelry-on very small scale! Another new passion for me is polymer clay and trials that go along in learning of the ways to create with it! I do simple diy's that mostly consist of Dollar Tree item's and/or a lot of clearance/dollar sections from all major big box store's! I love recycling or upcycling- I also go to my local thrift store's for inspirations or grabbing that one unique item.
Cooking | Baking
In general it’s a good rule to not let me in the kitchen- well at least not by myself anyways! My elder (my 2 older sisters are my elders) and I enjoy baking all kinds of cookies and or candies. We are always looking for recipes to try. My favorite is a mixture of chocolate and peanut butter and chocolate with carmel I will never turned down that combinations!
